EDUCATION LOTTERY RETAILERS RECEIVE RECOGNITION
Keeping players informed and having fun selling tickets appears to be paying off for some North Carolina Education Lottery (NCEL) retailers. Two Raleigh Region retailers have increased sales from 236% to 357% and have been named "Stellar Sellers." Another retailer has been named a "S.T.A.R." for its enthusiasm for the lottery and getting players involved in the fun.
NCEL retailers that have increased their sales by the highest percentage in the region compared to the previous quarter earn the title of "Stellar Seller." One location per region earns the title of "S.T.A.R." (Spectacular Technique Achieving Retailer), based on NCEL sales representative recommendations for a store's unique sales promotion technique. The NCEL announces the following retail locations in the Raleigh Region named "Stellar Seller" or S.T.A.R.:
